Provost-Bicentennial Ride/Roll/Walk

Come learn about the proposed Provost-Bicentennial Byway, a collection of mostly off-street trails for navigating from Provost Elementary to Bicentennial Park!

FrontRunner’s Fifteenth Birthday Ride
4/26 (Wed) 5:30PM – @ Provo Frontrunner Station
Can you believe it’s been fifteen years since FrontRunner began transforming transportation along the Wasatch Front?! Put on your party hats and join us at Provo Station on Wednesday, April 26th at 5:30 to celebrate the anniversary of our favorite regional rail system with birthday candles, refreshments, and UTA swag.
After partying with @rideuta we’ll go on a casual bike ride through Provo to explore the history of transit in the city and highlight present and future transit investments that are making Provo the most walkable city in Utah.
World Famous Biking Tour of Provo
5/1 (Mon) 6PM – @ Provo Frontrunner Station
You won’t want to miss this ride! We’ll be navigating through the city via some of the best bike infrastructure our city has to offer. This will make you love Provo, love biking, and love transportation planning, guaranteed.
Bike to Work (or Anywhere) Day

May is Provo’s Bike Month and on May 4th is our 23rd Annual Bike to Work (or Anywhere) Day! If you have been looking for a good reason to park your car and take your bike to work: this is it.
Provo businesses will host stations located throughout the city and hand out free breakfast, drinks, and other treats to people who arrive by bike from 7:30 – 9:00 am. (The City Center breakfast station will be open at 7:00 am for early bird riders).
Pick up some breakfast, get to know your fellow commuters, have your bike looked at by a pro mechanic, connect with BikeWalk Provo and other community volunteers.
BikeWalk Provo Monthly Meeting
5/4 (Thurs) 5PM – @ Provo Library & Zoom
BikeWalk Provo’s monthly meetings are for everyone who is interested in making Provo a better place to walk and bike. Monthly meetings feature updates on projects, reports from government officials, group discussions, and opportunities to get involved.

Downtown Provo Art Stroll/Roll

The Provo Art Stroll is a self guided art tour that takes place on the first Friday of every month in Downtown Provo! Art Stroll maps can be found at every participating location.
“Gear Up: The Science of Bikes” Exhibit

Come join us on a field trip up to The Museum of Natural Curiosity to enjoy their newest exhibit, “GEAR UP: The Science of Bikes”! Learn how bikes work, the history and evolution of bikes, the science and technology behind the machine, and how bikes have impacted our culture. With a dozen interactive activities, this exhibit appeals to people of all ages and diverse interests, from STEM and design to history and art.
We plan to meet at the Provo FrontRunner station in time to catch the 11:45 train to Lehi. Please bring your bike to ride with us from the Lehi station to the museum!
Birthday Bash Bike Parade & Cargo Bike Roundup

Ride your bikes around the outdoor pool area through a fun and kid friendly obstacle course finishing in North Park to mingle with other members of the bike community! Check out different cargo bikes, enjoy the food trucks, local bike businesses, giveaways, and more!
There is also a prize for the best decorate bike, so pull out your crafting skills for a chance to win!

Beavers, Botany, and Bikes Ride
5/12 (Fri) 6PM – @ Riverside Park
Join us along the Provo River Trail for a gentle 10 mile out and back ride with our very own UVU Biology Professor, Dr. Michael Rotter! We will look for signs of our favorite aquatic rodent, The Beaver! We will talk about how beaver shape our waterways and how people influence beavers in our urban habitats. We will start to roll from Riverside Park and head toward Utah Lake at 6pm. Feel free to dress up as a beaver!
Golden Spoke Ride
5/13 (Sat) 7:30AM – Starting @ Riverside Park ⇢ Jordan River Nature Center

Join the Utah Department of Transportation to celebrate over 170 miles of safe, separated, and connected multi-use trails linking Ogden and Provo.
Two rides will start simultaneously and converge at the Jordan River Parkway in Salt Lake City. An End of Ride Event will be held at Tracy Aviary’s Jordan River Nature Center.
Ride of Silence
5/17 (Wed) 7PM – Starting @ Dixon Middle School
Join the Provo chapter of the Worldwide Ride of Silence on May 17th to ride to honor people who were killed or injured while biking this last year and last several years. We will begin at Dixon Middle School and go for a short, slow, silent ride with brief stops at the ghost bike memorials for Doug Crow and Mark Robinson, and return to Dixon Middle School.
Family Social Ride
5/19 (Fri) 10AM – Starting @ Provo Bicycle Collective
Meet at the Provo Bicycle Collective for a leisurely ride to Lion’s Park! Our family rides are every third weekend on Fridays @ 10am and Saturdays @ 5pm. We’d love for you to join us!
Love Your Public Streets Service Project
5/20 (Sat) 9AM – @ Cougar Blvd
Courage Blvd and University Ave help accommodate active transportation. Join us to show our love and appreciation by picking up trash along these roads. We will gather on the southeast corner of Cougar and State (here). We will work our way east on Cougar then south on University. Please join us!
Family Ride & BBQ
5/20 (Sat) 5PM – Starting @ Provo Bicycle Collective
Join us for a family ride and BBQ sponsored by Bunch Bikes! Bunch is a family owned cargo bike company that is passionate about making biking more accessible for every family. They are generous and value connecting communities in ways that help get families biking more – whether they’re on a Bunch Bike or not!
We will be meeting at Provo Bicycle Collective at 5pm and biking together to Lions Park where we will have a BBQ.
