I was over at the Collective last night and Scott Manning (who shoots some great photos for us), was there volunteering. He asked me if I had heard they were shutting Center St. down this coming Friday? *Center St. will not be closed, but there will be dancing on the sidewalks.* I told him no, and he immediately made sure I had the info (thanks Scott). It looks like SceneSister, the new Downtown Provo Inc., and Velour have a great little event planned for this coming Friday. As far as I understand it they will have a golf cart playing awesome tunes, and a giant dance party will ensue Downtown! If that does not sound fun enough Scott says you are free to bring your bicycles which means I want to see some of this action;
The best part is that this is happening right before the FFUFR so you do not have to choose between the two. Go downtown get your dance on then head over to the race. Here is all the info from the Facebook;

This will be a great addition to the Downtown Provo First Friday Events: The Downtown Art Stroll, The Rooftop Concert Series…and if it goes well, let’s do it again on the First Fridays for the rest of the season!
